Leaving Facebook behind me...

I admit that initially I had an aversion to the Facebook site, and refused to join, until the pressure became so high that I joined two weeks ago. Like every new toy in the beginning its fun, but the software is so slow, and to maintain you 'Face' their, takes time: time-consuming.
Okay, I got poked, bitten, chucked. Had vampires on my neck, slayers, zombies. So I lost a lot of blood...
As compensation I got 'virtual' drinks and so on. But in the end it resembles a cheesy Internet dating site designed specifically for people who have dated computers: high school kids, lonely housewives, wannabee computer kids, and troubled young men..)
I will poke one person on a daily base, and that's it for now...success you frenzy facebook freaks...

To be honest with you Hans I don't even get in to Facebook anymore, there is so much things going on and can't catch them all or can't reply everything I started ignoring all.

Friend of mine told me yesterday she also left the place. but I'm only going for fights for now, If I get bored with it TOO, will leave there soon..

Hans,

I hate to be serious for a minute.

But get real . . . you're missing the point . . .

All 'social' networking sites are all of those things you mentioned. However, the technology and the convenience of reaching a greater medium is a far reaching necessity of today's commercial and digital world.

Stop playing with vampires, and start using the tool for what it is intended for (from an adult point of view). And it's not what you may be thinking.

With the introduction of Facebook Ads, and Googles' Open Source, improved versions for corporations and ad agencies to join in on the Interactive Marketing bandwagon is here to stay.

In fact, I am developing a company site to take advantage of such a medium as part of my Interactive Media campaign for Award Shows and Movie Premieres.

So . . . you have to admit . . . it was fun when you were sick and didn't feel like watching TV by staring. Instead you had people stare at you back for awhile.

Facebook all the way. Or shall I say Face the Book!

Sounds like you're too busy communicating with your peeps.

I, on the other hand, am trying to reach an audience of one, for my larger than life clients. And get paid for it.

Ahhh . . . the lives of the rich and dangerous . . .
