Here is 'my man' again: Ali Külebi. With a bunch of allegations, and rhetoric as if he is member of some kind of Politburo. His columns are always great fun for me, simply because he is using a style and language which is so anachronistic. Like Vassili wrote in his posting of today on his blog, about the good old communists, Turkey has them as well...like Ali Külebi.

Tufan: I believe its GREAT that they have a forum to debate. That way we can SEE who they are and deal with appropriatly. Many, logical and good hearted people follow these kind of people everywhere, without fully understanding the consequences of what they are following.
It is up to us in a democracy, and also to ALL community leaders of all shapes and factions to help deal with them and OPEN PEOPLES EYES to the consequences of them. Otherwise they fester like a cancer underneath the surface and when they do something its too late.
Maybe you are right Vassilli, but I get sick and tired when I see the old 'guard' of the Turkish society telling all over and over again how bad the 'West' is while taking the fruits of it...
Ali K. is a bad guy. His writings never impressed a Turk abroad. But I am annoyed by the fact that he wants to create a hostile mood in Turkey...against Greece ect.

Sigh. Well i am with you on that Tufan. My eternal hope is that as time goes by their supporters will fade away with them...
My dear friend, you have to understand that some Turks never will give up their seats...on positions they never had to sit on.
But your hope is my hope.
I have many Greek friends here in the USA and in Greece...we see eachother as friends, but some idiots in Turkey and (Greece) are still fueling the anger of ultra nationalists.
I am really happy that you, Myrthe, Yasemin and Hans, have the guts to open a forum like this.
Time to go to bed....
