Amsterdam Airport

Don't get married in Vegas, get married at Schiphol Airport...

And take off for Vegas, to get divorced...a new business line created by Hans A.H.C. de Wit..

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is voted as the best European Airport.
Yes, they are doing a good job.
Please let KLM follow this trend, especially after their merger with Air France...!!

I usually fly KLM and take a connecting flight from Amsterdam to Istanbul. What other airport in the world has a casino in it? You gotta love it!

my mother told me not to gamble, so I never visited a casino..))

I don't get comments on my more serious postings here..((

Hi Hans,

I read ALL of your posts. The more serious post may not have comments because people shy away from expressing their opinions on hot-button issues.

I don't know. I am just guessing. What do you think?

AY (still have the feeling that I am talking to some kind of Anonymus group, like Anonymus bloggers..))

I dont have a problem with the Turkish society, I have a big problem with how people are raised up. In too claustrophy family situations, in schools where no critizism is allowed, in universities where people are taught to memorize instead to think On their Own.
My opinion is: there is a huge gap between the have's and have's not. To solve this problem, 'patrons' have to learn how to deal with all the talented people in Turkey. They see them as competitors, instead, of added value employes. They have to recognize their values for their companies. Only than Turkey can be competitive since most SME's in Turkey are terrible managersand therefore, blocking talents. Not that many employees feel satisfied. I understand. A vicious circle.
Which makes a lot of talented Turkish people almost 'brain death'. On the other side, Turkish employees dont kknow how to take responsabilities. Of course, I am generalizing.
Yours

I always thought that the point if an education was to learn how to think critically. It's sad to hear that college students are not challeged in a way that would make them grow into great thinkers. Your'e right: that is a waste of the talented and gifted students.
