A new parliament, new faces

This is the Leader of Great Union Party of Turkey (BBP), and new elected parliamentarian Muhsin Yazicioglu. He is considered to be close to the Grey Wolves organization, and is related to the "Alperen Ocakları" tendency of Alparslan Turkes.

Ogün Samast, the teen Turkish ultra-nationalist who assassinated Hrant Dink, is said to have links to this political party through its youth organization Alperen Ocakları.

Alparslan Türkeş, a late Turkish politician considered by many to have fascist views, said:

'Those that have torn down this nation are Greek, Armenian and Jew traitors, and Kurdish, Bosnian and Albanians… How can you, as a Turk, tolerate these dirty minorities. Remove from within the Armenians and Kurds and all Turkish enemies'.

It will be interesting to see how he (Muhsin Yazicioglu) will co-op with the 20 Kurdish parliamentarians of the DTP.

Dear Hans A.H.C. de Wit,
Muhsin's BBP is the MHP's biggest rival, they split from mhp in the 70s/80s. Thats why BBP and MHP don't like each other very much. The relationship between Alparslan Turkes/Devlet Bahceli and Muhsin yazicigoglu is similar to Erbakan vs. Erdogan.

Muhsin is a muslim-nationalist, closer to erdogan (nationalist-muslim) style politics, while the mhp are secular nationalists, although they are less secular than say chp/dsp, or dtp who are nationalist secularists.

Ogun samast was a member of bbp, but they say they kicked him out sometime before he murdered Hrant.

Dear..A,

I know about the rift between MHP and BBP. The later is more national/islam as you stated. But BBP is a pro Grand Turkey while AK party is not nationalistic at all.

Can you give a reference for the Turkes quotation?

Even though he was not my favorite politician at all, it seems that it's impossible for him to say these words.

He was championing a unifying nationalism, instead of dividing. You might have got used to the racism of European right wing, but it doesn't work like that here...

Copy paste His name and google him.
Looks like the links on this article doesnt work, Or click on Grey Wolves link, and go to his organisation. There you will find on wikipedia his words.
His words, 1973, are recorded.
Unifying by denying other people rights, is fascistoide.
There is more neo-nationalism and rascism in Turkey than in one other country in Europe.
Human Right Watch, AI, Ofordcam etc. can tell you want you simple don't want to hear. Rascism is outlawed in EU, in contrary with Turkey.

Wikipedia article refers to European People's Party (Christian Democrats) website for the quotation. And this website refers nowhere.

Depending on EPP as a reliable source on MHP is like depending on the White House as a reliable source on WMDs.

So where is the original source of the quote? When and where did Turkes tell these words?

Emre,
The speech was made in 1973. And recorded. It was on Wikipedia, and the links disappeared suddenly.
It was an update by that guy of the BBP.
EEP is not my group, but for sure, they don't falsify information like MHP and Bush his white house.
